Recent Updates to the Measure App: June 23, 2022

VideoAmp has made several recent changes to the Measure app to improve the user experience. Most notably, we have moved the metrics from the Delivery pages to other locations and enhanced key elements of the Performance Detail table. By reorganizing Initiative outputs and improving the functionality of the tables where you spend the majority of your time, we hope to deliver a better experience in our platform.

As of June 23, the Delivery pages will be removed. Delivery metrics have been moved as follows:

Delivery outputs moving to the Overview page:

  • Cumulative Reach and Cumulative Impressions have moved from the Delivery Trend chart on the Delivery Page to the Trends chart on the Overview page.

  • Within the chart, you can select Cumulative Reach or Cumulative Impressions in the View By dropdown menu.

Delivery outputs moving to the Frequency page:

  • The Frequency Distribution chart on the Delivery page has moved to the bottom of the Frequency page and is now called Frequency Trend.

Delivery outputs moving to the Performance > Detail page:

  • Topline delivery metrics for digital, linear and cross-screen campaigns have been moved from the Delivery pages to Performance Breakdown table on the Performance > Detail page.

  • Within the Performance Breakdown table, users should select Medium from the dropdown menu to see topline campaign delivery metrics for linear, digital and cross platform campaigns.

  • The ability to look at multiple audiences in the Delivery Breakdown table has been added to the Performance Breakdown table.

  • The following metrics from the Delivery Breakdown table have been added to the Performance Breakdown Table:

    • Average Frequency

    • HH Reach CPM

    • VideoAmp Panel HH Reach

    • VideoAmp Panel Impressions

    • GRPS

    • CPP

  • The ability to filter by Network x Daypart x Program and Spot has been moved from the Delivery Breakdown table to the View By dropdown menu of the Performance Breakdown table.

  • Digital Measurability has been moved from the Performance Detail table to the Performance Breakdown table. Note that Measurability will only appear if a digital dimension is selected in the View By dropdown.

  • Broadcast Quarterly as a time increment has been added to the Performance Breakdown table for reports with conversions.

The following improvements have been made to the Performance Detail table.

  • Configure Table: To configure which metrics are included in the Performance Breakdown table, click on the Configure Table icon. This will open a dropdown window, allowing you to select which metrics to include in the table.

  • By default, the Performance Breakdown table will now include the following metrics:

    • Estimated Spend

    • Impressions

    • Impression CPM

    • Average Frequency

    • Household Reach

    • HH Reach CPM

    • Attributed Conversions

    • Cost Per Action

    • Attributed Revenue

    • ROAS

These metrics can be included or excluded from the table and any .CSV outputs by selecting or deselecting them from the dropdown window.

Note that changes to the default metrics included in the Performance Breakdown table will result in changes to the default schema of the corresponding .CSV file. If you have built scripts on top of the former schema, they will need to be modified to adjust to the new default metrics.

Depending on the setup of the Initiative and the options selected in the dropdown menus, the following metrics may be available to add to the table or .CSV outputs:

  • Download CSV: The outputs of the downloadable .csv file will now reflect only the metrics and dimensions you’ve chosen through the dropdown menus, filters, and column configuration workflow.

Summary page updates:

  • Tabs have been removed under the Summary page. All previous content included within the Summary tabs is now contained on one Summary page.
